Siddle Celtic Tartan

At the end of April 2006 a new British Celtic tartan design was registered on the International Tartans Index in Scotland. The new tartan is called Siddle Modern.
The new design is registered to Sir Andrew Siddle, who is a property and land policy academic, and consultant in Great Britain.
The tartan comes from a redesign of a much older tartan cloth from Andrew's mother's side of the family. Sir Andrew's family are half ancient Olde English, dating back to at least the 4th century or earlier through the surname Siddle, and half lowland Scottish in origin.
The tartan was registered a second time at the World Wide Tartan register in 2008 and is now available for anybody to buy if for their own use.
The designer of Siddle Modern tartan was Maxine Scott who works for the House of Tartan at Perthshire in Scotland.
